Congratulations to the 2007 MileOne Raffle Winner

BALTIMORE, MD - June 22, 2007. This years lucky winner, Savitha Shivananda, M.D., an internal medicine physician who purchased her ticket at the Essex Relay from ACS Strides caller Christa Gill (who was Co-chair of the Essex Relay).
After a very humorous phone call and a lot of convincing, Dr. Shivananda finally believed that she was indeed the winner of the 2007 Saturn Outlook, donated by MileOne. She even cleared her schedule for the evening and came to the North Baltimore County Relay to further convince herself that we were not kidding. Dr. Shivananda commented she has never won anything in her life and basically bought the ticket to support the cause.
Thanks to everyone for selling the tickets. Almost 20,000 tickets were sold which translates into almost $100,000 net profit.
